I have the best idea every....dual athlonXP's ! I have concluded that my 700mhz classic is to slow and I must upgrade! Plus the new stats that have brought me down a great deal.. Plan to just pull most stuff from this computer and build from there. I do however need some help. I have a few questions though... if anyone can help me answer them it would be great....

whats a good mobo for dual amd processors w/ raid ?
whats a good case w/ ps for dual system
whats a decent case with ventilation?
Who makes a quite fan that will keep the processors cool running 24/7 under full load?
Has there been any major problems running windows xp w/ G@H?

Skipped classes to work on thisJ I’m excited.!! Haha

I recall Phil saying that the new boards would be out within 60 days. Some as early as 30 Abit and Iwill have dual boards coming, I'm going to be looking there for my new stuff, I've had great luck with my KK266 and VP6.

So to get back to your answer yes by Christmas for sure.

Be aware that only the early batch of XP processors are SMP enabled. The newer batches are NOT running dual. Seems like AMD are crippling the XP's.

Yes I am waiting, just out of curiousity how will you be killing me? Will it hurt? Will it be messy? Where will it be taking place? The reason I am asking is because I have never died before. Oh and lastly what will happen to my genome account?:)

So when will I be expecting my early demise. Oh and I have stated in my will that whomever shall conceive the plans for my early demise sahll infact inhierit all my debts and finacial obligations for the next 65 years. This would include my mortgage, car payments and most important all the expenses of little mohT. Good luck Phil, I'm sure you will enjoy him. Oh and failure to do so will result in me haunting you for all of eternity, and basically limiting you to poorly overclocked machines ;)

I can live with that.

Hmmm, seems like my above statement is incorrect. It looks like the people having problems have been running a single CPU and not re-installed Win2K to install the SMP kernal...that's why they weren't working. To confirm this, I have had to buy a couple of XP1800's and I can confirm they are working perfectly in my Tyan Tiger. I now have a couple of 1.2GHz MP's for sale (UK).
