Hello everyone, its nice to see we have alot of new team mates, I just wanted to say hi, good luck and keep crunching.. im only running 2x700mhz athlons at the time, but i'll soon be in college with dual p3's and i'll stick G@H on alot :)

you do have 50+ genes on me, but maybe I can convince my buddy with about 10ghz of power to let me run on his machines for a week or so :) ya right, that wouldn't happen(have to know this guy)

my personal goal is to break into the 500's thats pretty good I think, I started this 2 months ago in 8000'th place!

Genes don't really mean much anymore. Stanford have changed the credit calculation now. It used to pan out more benefitial to crunch small genes, more UNITS in less time. It is now much better, although lower average credits being provided. Check the Stanford page for an update.

Re: my 50+ genes on you, my gene count is abnormally high, as I was nonet for 4 days until the new team was sorted, and in that period my 1.45Ghz system picked up a 16aa unit for a day (they fly!) and the Celeron chewed on a 12aa for 1 day also....... Go by units m8, not the genes.

I haven't picked up anything less than a 57 in the past 2 weeks.. it sucks, those 80+'s take a full day to run on my machines... but I guess its all the same. i tired to load up the user stats, but the server is having problems.... how many units do you have?

4354 units. I found 7 genes lost in the bowels of the Athlon last night, straglers from the past week :D Plus another 12 crunched in the past 48 hours makes 19. So expect a big dump comming down m8 :eek:
