Just wondering if anyone is going to see family, or having family visit. Personaly I'm having my sister home from college for a while and a bunch of my high school first also. Then im going north 45 miles to my moms house! So what are the rest of the TGC doing?

Same as last year.....
eat too much,
drink too much,
fall over.......
Try on new socks & jocks... ;)
try to fool my little sis that I actually did get a $50 note in my pudding......she's seventeen now so it may be tricky.......:D :D

Phil's got the idea... :D ... although i have to take it easy 'cause i'm working the 24th, 27th, 28th, 31st & jan 2-4th... :(
I'll probably be driving the 4 hrs to my fathers on the saturday before xmas and driving back that sunday night. Christmas dinner will be at a family friend's place, then the family in Nova Scotia gets together on boxing day at my sister's place(about 25 mins away) for the "family" xmas dinner... :o BURP! :o

This is when you pay your dues for NOT seeing the rest of the family for a year!;) The in-laws are coming down from Connecticut to stay for us for a week, but that is the good part. I really dig them. Our place is Christmas Central for the rest of the family in the area, so I will be holing up in the computer room with the bro in law. We will be celebrating as much as possible Phil style, playing Ghost recon against each other.
Bah hum..., no, I really like Christmas!

Not going to be a very happy season around here I'm afraid. We lost my mom in law last evening :(

Thanks dnar, didn't want to turn this into a bummer thread. How does the song go? "Don't worry, be happy!"

LB, very sorry about the loss in the family. If it we're any other holiday except Christmas or Thanksgiving......hell it sucks no matter what time of the year. Thought and prayers are with you and the family!

As far as our plans go, we are staying put this year. Everyone is coming to visit us. Which is good because I really am not getting any time off for it. We'll be closed Christmas Day and that is all. The only good thing is most of the Dr's in our office will be on vacation, so we wont be too busy with patients.

Sorry to hear LB. Ive been the route.

Not sure what we are doing. I dont find these things out till i hear "Good lord boy, arnt you up yet? were going to north carolina to visit your uncle and aunt!" and then, i have all of 10 minutes to get a weeks worth of crap together. Gotta love our trips...very spontanious. Kind of like the dinner we had... I had planned to goto my friends to study, and then suddenly we are going to dinner with my grandparents. cant pass taht up, specialy cuz they were goin to FL not to long after. sigh, why cant she at least foreshadow? all i want is a small hint :(

How bout you guys make a smile guy for sighing? It would get some miles out of me :)
