Click Me =>> Daily Stats (http://pages.infinit.net/jclaudev/TeamsDaily.htm)

Sorry guys, been working hard in the past few days... Urgent crap... I'm now back to my little vacation (until next emergency :( )

While going downtown by bus, I had a copy of the stats db on the laptop and played around with this little report... (and crunched WUs on battery power :))

Each day (21:00 Eastern Time), I compare stats from Previous day (same time) to get the daily prod rate.

The list of reported teams was built like this : Top Ten Teams (highest rank) + Top Ten Producers (hghest daily rate) + TGC + SDL + PCCX + the old TGC. (Little bug... Will be fixed before tomorrow's version... PCCX & old TGC don't show because there was no update at 21:00)

I plan to run this one daily about the same time. The next will be about the same but individual stats for our members...

Give me some feedback...

Coming along nicely ;)

Can't wait until it looks like this (http://www.zerothelement.com/distributed/genome/site-picard/index-1.shtml) ;)

Help!!!

Who will help me for the "cosmetic" side of the thing ??? There's no limit to what I can do on the mechanics... But... I need someone with talent to help me with the layout and we will have a better stat system than that but that will also look better :)

Just a funny quick little one...

As at 2001/07/12 21:00 there is 186 members

I wanted to split active vs inactive, all those that had some activity since I started collecting stats data : 2001/07/08 21:00

So... 186 Members, 93 Active, 93 Inactive... Exactly 50%

I love playing with data :)

I like your team stats graph, Matrix!

It looks like Matrix is on his way to giving you guys all the stats you could possibly need. However, in the meantime, a guy I've known for some time by the name of "Hemi" dropped me an email yesterday asking if I could help out. Hemi's a good guy so, as they say "ask and ye shall receive":

The Genome Collective User Stats by Dyyryath (http://www.zerothelement.com/distributed/genome/site-collective/index-1.shtml)

First, a couple of quick notes. I just turned on data collection for your team last night so several of the features won't be working yet. After the requisite amount of data has been compiled for each feature, it will automatically start to update. Additionally, I took some liberties with your logo and such. Sorry about that...I just tend to get carried away. ;) I based the color scheme rather loosely on this page (http://65.108.103.173/) which is linked as your new website over at SkyzDaLimit (it's looking very nice, BTW). If this isn't going to be it, let me know and I will reskin the stats to match whatever you'd like.

Feel free to use the stats as long as you'd like. I'm always willing to help out guys like Hemi. Once Matrix is satisfied with the state of his stats engine, I will turn off the updater for these. I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

BTW, congrats on your merger! I look forward to seeing you guys keep the pressure on TPS!

Thanks Dyyryath!! Those are awesome :D Just one request pretty please? As Skzdalimit and PCCritx joined ACHO, could the stats be sorted by individual work units as the team rank i.e the individual with the highest wu's is no.1 in the team rank?

Thanks again.

Those look great!!!! Thanks Dyyryath for your time on putting that together. Do we have anyway of incorperating our combined stats (Different teams) onto that skin?

Many thankx m8. This is awesome, the way this project is looking (Stanford that is). If only the real world was more like this...... Oh, bugger it! I'm leaving the real world, it sucks!

Is their anyway that you can pull the stats from the individual stats list. The only problem with the stats are the data is being pulled from our team info rather than the individual stats list. Example would be that Sniper_Virus is actually in 2nd place rather than in the bottom of the barrel as it currently appears. Nice stats to the both of you!

This can be done, though it's not a feature I'm already supporting. I'll look into it. It shouldn't be a problem. Actually, now that you mention it, this gives me a couple of ideas...

I'll see what I can do and let you know. :D

yummy, looks good, Thx Dyyryath, nice gesture !

Matrix - mail me about the mechanics of your stats-tank, maybe we could work out something in DHTML to do the trick? (ATTN: Foreign language: En français en plus...!!!!)

Geez, I ask the guy to help us out, and he goes and does this! :p

Since MaTriX's stats system is rapidly developing into something great, I was sorta waiting to see what happened and we'd go from there. Of course, being the great guy he is, Dyyryath offered to put this together and host the system for us.

Dyy, thanks a bunch for the compliments, and especially for setting this up so quickly. We owe you one.

BTW, I know you are a TPSer, but maybe you could donate some wu's to us... ;)

Ok, I've looked into sorting team rank by individual totals rather than the totals "on the team". Before I make such a change, is this what everybody wants? If so, no problem. I can make it live sometime tonight.

If not, then I'm considering the possibility of offering a "subpage" like the "Sort by 24 Hour Production" list, or possibly even a whole second set of stats.

What do you guys think? It's up to you...

I think a second set of stats would be brilliant
but then i love stats.......... :D

Well, as usual, Dyy<tab> has stolen all of my thunder, since I've also put together a little stats page for The Genome Collective.

Tellian's TGC Stats (http://genome.lusers.net/collective1.html)

Has Rankings by Individual WU totals and by Production Averages, graph histories for individuals (and teams, in the teams section), and also a comparison function between team members for gauntlet type purposes. (put a check next to the people you want to see in the graph, and click Do).

It's only been harvesting TGC data for one day, so the 3-day and 10-day averages aren't functioning yet. Given time, it will though.

Hey Tellian, that's what you get for picking on me in IRC. ;)

Seriously, if you guys haven't seen Tellian's work, you should definately check it out. His comparison graphs can't be beat!

BTW, Hemi emailed me your new logo, so I put it up on top of the stats page.

I have a new found respect for TPS. You guys are great. This is really what it's all about. Everyone helping each other out no matter what team you are on. In the end it all benefits the project, which is really what is important. Again thank you both for the wonderful stats. Combined with MaTriX's we'll have enough stats to keep us happy from now until eternity. Thanks again. Hopefully we can return the favor sometime in the future.

Great job everyone on the fantastic stats.

However, wasn't the agreement that any new stats would be collected from the Stanford Individual Stats page and reflect overall particapation in the new TGC team?

I didn't join the Collective to start at the bottom and scratch my way up!

Sorry about that, wbierman...that's my fault. I wasn't privy to any of that information when I set it up (I'm not a member of your team and just got involved late last night).

No worries, though. I'll have your team's pages ranked based on individual totals tonight. ;)

They did those stats out of the goodness of their hearts. We all appreciate that very much. The stats are going to be changed to track overall and not team. MaTriX is creating the stats to track overall also and that was the deal before we merged. The others stats are above and beyond and we need to give a lot of thanks for them. They have no obligation to our team and are doing this to be generous.

I just wanted to say that your stats page is superb. If I had dreamed for a month of Sundays, I couldn't have thought up anything better...

Superb statistics and asthetics :)

Thank you very much!
