Hey, welcome! There's more beer where that came from. Dnar has stacked cases of it in the back office but there's better hooch to be had than that Royal Crown bathwater. We use the RC for bathing mostly. Does wonders for your hair.

finally!
had to use my spam account to get the activation. but i'm here.
i'm off for the next couple of days but i go back on tuesday night, so i'll try and get those other machines to work doing something useful. they're all cruddy ipaqs but they got a decent celeron and 128 ram so they should be able to do something.

I actually heard about the Genome@Home project on the Discovery Science channel, and also at EOC. I just thought I'd see what all the commotion was, and lo and behold I got sucked in like a dust-bunny in a vacuum cleaner.
I Live in Wyoming so I think after I graduate this May, I'll go to college in Florida (where it's warm :hic: ). Who knows, maybe later on I can help map the human genome in a more direct way, but for now I'll just use my PC.

You just gave the team a lift in spirit, your choice of TGC has shown your brilliance and it shows us why we help with what we got. Your 1 PC is just as valuable as any 20 PCs, anyone says different then TGC will make them pay where it hurts, in the stats :D
Hey Little Birdie that's Big Bird :D

Hey!
Just got my G@H client working, damn firewall...
Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of the team! Seems like a MUCH more worthy cause than trying to find some rediculously large prime number, or looking for E.T.... Not that those things aren't important... But the first post I read (besides the FAQ) was This One (http://www.thegenomecollective.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2326) and I kid you not, it made me want to cry.
Anyway, enough of the melodrama! I'm here from the OCF (http://www.overclockersforum.com) because I got tired of not knowing what the deal was with Makatiel's sig! And once I knew, I figured it would be a good place for my newly OC'ed PC to hang out!
See ya around!

He he, It seemed the best choice until I can create my own... BTW, maybe I'm just a little thick, but I can't seem to chose a custom Avitar...

Isn't that why everyone overclocks? *grins*
I actually left my rig running all night crunching... I woke up just in time to see it finish it's job, and send it in to G@H.. Sweet!
