Hi Dnar, welcome to the club.
I hope that you post on this BB because some of the newbies are realy quiet
Uh-oh....are you on a message posting spree dnar? That didn't take long :)
Don't worry, I'll have some avatars and other "stuff" added soon. As I have been on with this for sooo long today, I will have to spend some quality time with the wife.
So, it feels good here yes? This is much nicer software. I like the message editor, and the fact the pages update once you submit your post. I wonder if the manga chic is comming to join us, or is she going down with the ship???
Phil has done Ok. Can't wait to see the avitar selection :D Your right though, it is very quiet in here. Ahh heck, lets trash the joint, nobodies watching :D Go on, through that lamp shade out the window :D

I can't resist responding to your tag line. You may or may not agree with the writer on A.I., but it's an interesting viewpoint. LA Times Article on Chips & Brains (http://www.latimes.com/news/comment/20010709/t000056448.html)

Welcome :) Don't worry about how fast your PC is....you don't even need one to join us although it would help to read the posts and run the genome client :p Seriously though, every little helps no matter how small. This groups biggest hitter has a bunch of Pentium Pro's around the 200Mhz mark....I say a bunch of PPro's, but it is more like a farm

LOL.

pounds of meat to house our minds; it gave us just one for life."
My upgrade is well and truly overdue. I keep having big problems with my VESA bus, it never was very good! :D
Your more than welcome here Bruce.
Re: How fast a PC...... It's now how fast that matters, so long as it runs 24x7 running G@H it all counts.

We would like 1 gene per month, but if you can't make that we will take you on the team anyway.
