Medal Updates Part 3

I've gone ahead and edited the fine 10k unit medal and stuck a 15k on it... while changing the background color to blue(my personal fav) if anyone is like me with more than 10k but not quit at 25k and wanted to brag..... please feel free to snag it at my web site: http://www.geocities.com/fizler2001/medal_blue15k.gif http://www.geocities.com/fizler2001/medal_blue15k.gif

well geocities killed my image as soon as i posted it.. would it be possable to host it from this site ? Or does anyone know a free web hosting service that lets you link images?

little late now, but better late than never i suppose

geocities prevents people from linking pics to their server, you must be connected to the host account before any pics will work.

However, one way to get around it is after you've uploaded your picture, rename it to a ".x" file

E.G. blue_medal15k.gif ==> blue_medal15k.x

then it works :ssh:

Hey, thanks for the tip. I'll have to try that one myself.

I'm not on geocities, so it obviously may not apply, but I have some web page space on telocity.com. I can link to a http page there just fine but if I point to a gif (one that displays just fine on that same http file) the link doesn't find the gif.

I never thought about the blocking mechanism and how it filters the names.
