Norway... no Motorpsycho then? Their early work was blackish IMO.

I am lucky to have a very good rekkidstoor in town. The owner constantly searches for good bands and does his own imports. This gives me the chance to sample some very exciting new talent. I've come to realize how much talent there is out there that doesn't get the attention they deserve.
Needless to say I have a rather vast music collection and acquired a very broad taste. <But: Limp Bizkit suxz!>

Now you know where the money went and why I don't own a farm of boxen! Heck, my best horse is a freebie PII-350 and ladybadger (the missus) owns a Cel-366. The old workhorse, a P200mmx, is getting a lot of rest these days - no more 24/7 for that one.

Tada!
Alfred.

Bauhaus is the first choice.
Wumpscut must be second.
Skinny Puppy and Ministry are Third

If I'm home alone and want to have some real clockin' fun it'll be
Muslimgauze, Nurse With Wound, Dutro or some other industrial noise shaking the walls.

Sometimes it's Billie Holiday, and Louis Prima. or Stephane Grappelli, or Brother (love the bagpipes and dungree (sp?))

Maybe some Blues a la Robert Johnson, Blind Lemmon, or other old acoustical stuff. Electric's alright, but I like the earlier sounds.

Some African Sueto (sp?) and Reggae is a nice listen too, as well as some Tibetan Chants and Japanese Traditional.

No Top 40, no Friggin Beatles, no Rap

I've got an extensive MP3 collection. It's about 215 cds, with another 18gig that needs to be burned. I still have some vinyl that needs to be encoded too.

Like those also Michael. I'd have to add the Greatful Dead to the list. Saw them about 15 times live. Had many wild experiances going to their shows. Like the time we were pulled over by the cops for suspicion of kidnapping.

PS We didn't do it! We were in a van with a mural on the side that looked like the suspected vehicle. Good thing they didn't make us get out and search us (they were the young, wild and stupid days).

I forgot all about the Greatful Dead......OMG I've gone looney. I never got to see them live, probably one of my major regrets.

Naming a few more favorites: Chicago, Bee Gees, Frank Sinatra, America, Heart, Steve Miller Band, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, B-52's and Sheryl Crow.
