Bartender! I'll have a penguin burger, medium rare, with lettuce, tomato, and cheddar. Last time the fries were soggy. I hate it when the fries are soggy. Get it right or I'm going to encourage Lazarus to...be Lazarus. And give me a pint of that "mystery beer" while you're at it. It leaves a funny residue in the glass but the price is right.

I don't need encouragement m8ee. ;) :D

Siggy!!! Nofinger is in the basement cleaning the lines for the draft beer. Here's a double of the finest 15-year old Jamaican rum. You can chase it with a Coke served in a glass bottle.

Psst, take it from your (temporary) bartender. Reading doesn't make your mouth so dry if you don't move your lips.

Welcome back!

Laz, you are a genius. I think we need two pumps. The big agriculture-grade 5 horsepower honker will keep the floor dry. I also would like to get their tiny pump to set up an indoor beer fountain. Think of how classy that would be! We could commission a statue of siggy pouring from a frothy pitcher of beer, sort of like those St. Pauli Girl ads. You could drink your beer, gaze at siggy, and relax to the sound of spilled beer burbling. The penguins could frolic in it.

Better living through digital means

Well let me try and give you the Readers Digest version.

I was trying to out post Dnar, and I also wanted to see "SIGGY" as the last post in every forum. But I had nothing useful to offer in the Linux forum so I posted everywhere in it. (mostly windows dribble) Dnar being the mod of the Linux forum got tired of wadding thru my dripple looking for the ppl that had actual questions. So he banned me to this one thread (in the Linux forum) I was happy cause I had some place to post to the be last post in the forum and Dnar was happy cause he could ignore this thread.

Since then there have also been a few post wars in this thread. Some of the post will not make since unless read with the other threads that we were having the wars in at the time.

The rest should be in the thread as history.

I did manage to pass Dnar in post counts on August 25th 2001. I am the Queen of the post count and I am also the Queen in charge of HUGS :hugz:

p.s. I am also the Proprietor of SIGGYS PLACE (which is this thread) Nofinger is the bartender and can get you any kind of drink you desire. Daniel is in charge of mopping the place. And the penquins (we are in Linux land after all) are the servers. Ole Martin also plays here occasionally.

So pull up a bar stool and let Nofinger know what you would like. First drink is on the house.

:hugz:
