I may not be a huge team contributer with my big one computer, but seeing how I'm probably the only person in my home (hick-)town that knows how to overclock, I figure it's my duty. :)

My Celeron 600 @ 927 w/ 512MB RAM (It'll do 1008MHz, at 2.0v with slight instability) has been slowly adding WUs to the total. This will be my only contributing machine for the foreseeable future, as I'm already relying on goverment loan money to get into college. God, please let computer programming be a lucrative career.

Anyways, Hi all! :)

Greets, geekboy! Hell, you'd be welcome here even if you didn't have a computer! Although it would make crunching genes, posting and reading messages a little harder....

Every cycle counts I have a couple of less than stellar Celerons crunching away it takes days for them to poop out a gene:p

It's not so much the fact that I only have one computer that bothers me. It's the fact that I'm stuck with dial-up Internet for a while yet. My phone line is shared, so I couldn't let the computer dial automatically. My stop-gap solution is to have one client always no-netting while another waits for me to dial. Now something is always getting done :)

I had my cable modem go down today and I thought of going dial-up, then thought better of it. I will just -nonet till it comes back. I have a 99aa so it will be slow anyway

Anyways, Hi all! :)

Hi Geekboy:

I'm from Ontario Canada too... so maybe there's 2 of us Hehe :)

Hey... maybe you're right. Quick! Find a third person from Ontario, Canada so that we aren't as small a minority group as the female population. ;)

We need a poll. I find it hard to believe that there are only 2 females.

I believe there are many more Canadians, I think some are in Ontario too.

We ought to do another one of These (http://www.excalibur-corp.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=1&topic=52)

Looks like there are more Canucks than you might think here. I've only got one PC crunching for Genome too. I've got two Macs to use if Stanford ever gets around to producing a Mac client. :(

Hmm. There are a few Canadians around here. :) Makes me think it would be interesting to see a chart of "Genome production per capita" for different parts of the world.

Hard to believe? Hell, we were amazed when Shubles showed up (and stayed!). Now we have TWO!

Yup, that was the thread, toilets running backwards, snooty phone operators, sexy chicks and succession to the US.

That was if you joined up with SDL. Still, next time I'm in Denver, I'll grab a box and see if they can be shipped.
