Hey yall! Gots a q for ya, hope you can provide the a :p.

Each question is worth 50 pts.

Part I

I was doing some custom configuring of gnome-terminal, having to do with sawfish options i think, its frameless now, and now, everytime i right click on the desktop and start a "new terminal" it is like that. thats good cuz its easy to start one up like that next time i want it their, but, its bad cuz now i have to load that one up then right click on that one to select a terminal to get the traditional framed one.

Part II

gnome-terminal always starts in the directory ~/.gnome for some reason...this just happened today, and i dont know why, i dont remember changing any config files to have this happen..!

LOL. You can right click on the temrinal, to get the prefs dialog up, then set your options. If Sawfish is dropping the frame, edit or create a "Watched Window" under the Sawfish settings.

I prefer to use the "multi-gnome-terminal". Its a multi-tabbed off-shoot. You can download it here (ftp://ftp.rpmfind.net/linux/freshrpms/enigma/multi-gnome-terminal/multi-gnome-terminal-1.3.3-fr1.i386.rpm).

Is this watched window thing supposed to be in the menu? or a file somewhere? I just think its kinda odd that only the one menu does it (the right click desktop menu thing).

anywho...Finaly got SSH kicking, and vncserver running...so anyone who logsin can access their xdesktop! woot. :)
