Just a thought on the new Web site and BB

I was re-hashing history by going over some of the threads in the old teams BBs. I couldn't help but think how our website really reflects our new team. Just in the simple idea that there is no black or white just many shades of grey. So whoever came up with the colour (color for my US counterparts) kudos to you (I think it was Tril but I have been wrong before). I was also thinking that maybe our BB should reflect the colo(u)r scheme on the web site. Any opinions. I'd love to help on this but I'm about as useless as t**s on a bull with HTML. I could also be way out of wack to and some one could tell me to shut up.....

I agree, it is a good color scheme. As far as I know, Tril did come up with it, and I'm using it to get the site together (which we should see very soon). :)

I know this is a little OT, but what do y'all think of the logo on Dyyryath's stat pages? I put that together as soon as the new team name was official, but I haven't heard much feedback. I'm starting to think that we really don't care, everyone's just happy to be a part of this team!

I agree 110%. Everyone sure is easy going! I do like the logo m8, I have even used it on the TGC Dashboard :D

Hemi your logo is top drawer! It's got a great look. I personally can't believe how many creative people there are in this team. The mods here are just top notch, the members are great. Frikin' awesome. And to have the peeps from other teams giving us a hand on the stats site is right on.

I think we should change the BB and website logo to yours Hemi I really like the look of it anyone else have any feelings on this? I just think one logo for everything would give us a nice uniform look. EEEK maybe another vote.....

Hi guys, re the colour, yup, 'twas me ;)

For once, I can claim it was a concious decision too. I deliberately chose it, so that it was different from all our respective old sites, yet nothing too offensive for those with strong colour prejudice. A calculated choice, but not a final one. We were waiting for some team feedback, but it looks like the colour has been adopted. It looks good on Dyyryath's page and also on Noxordo's (though not as subtle). Like Hemi says, hes based the new website around this scheme also. Phil was waiting for the final webpage to go up, before attempting to blend in the BB to the colourscheme. Should see some progress on all of the above in the next day or two.
