Well Due to my frustration with the K7T I decided to rip it out and install this Kk266 that I had laying around waiting for a home. The only things that I changed are the mobo and Ram and it's currently installing Win2k without a hitch. As soon as I get all of the drivers loaded into it I'll have another 1.2gig tbird box cracking genes for the good of the Collective.:D

Specs for latest creation:
Iwill KK266 w/ Tbird 900@1.2 gigs
30 gig Maxtor DM45+ HDD
AIW Radeon
Nic

Not much for guts but it's got some power in it.;) Don't know if I'm ever going to get this K7T running as it is driving me mad as you could probably tell by my other thread.

I don't think i caught the other thread.... What bios are you using? If you're having problems with interrupt sharing there's a good faq at viahardware.com. I was having alot of probs with my KT7A-R until i did some research and fiddlin'.... Sound card was the worst... but i enabled all the PCI features in the bois(3C) and everything is working good now... except it locks when it's idle for some reason... works perfect under load!

The Iwill is a great mobo. I have had my 1Ghz TBird running at 160x9.5 for over a week until I installed a Promise Fasttrack 100. I am currently running at 150x10.5 (1575Mhz).

It is offline though until my replacement gfx card arrives....a faulty fan on my GTS fried the card :(
