Okay software guys... I need to pick your brains. I have a system that a lady brought in, it won't boot into Windows. I told her that that was a "good" thing, but she wasn't convinced... It freezes every time and to make matters worse... she tried to fix it herself! Anyway, I did the Win98se Sysrec. No good there. I have tried everything, everything I can think of here... She freaked when I talked of nuking the drive and starting clean. I ghosted the drive, we could get most all of her settings back. But she isn't up to that. I bootlogged it. Every time it stops on NLMLOADR. I don't know what that is (please don't laugh). So I'm asking for some ideas. Shoot me back what you can... :banghead: :spew:

If you can get to these files/areas, remove that reference from win.ini, system.ini and possibly the registry. Check in the autoexec.bat and config.sys files for anything screwy.
