Have many of you played American McGee's "Alice"? I have heard it is alright... but I would love some real opinions. I saw it at Wally-World and the box had been crunched a little, so it was $10. Is it worth a go?

Hell yes - very good game. Awesome graphics, good story.

Played the demo - very good. Very, very strange as well. Mr American must have a very bizzar mind to come up with that.

You had to ask us first? :p That's strange to me. ;) As long as it isn't a kids game, and it is $10 USD or less, I always try to get it.

Dunno if ya got this yet or not Ben - I missed this post originally.

I've played it straight through and the graphics are gorgeous - especially the later levels. You'll need a kick-ass graphics card to get the best from it though.

Gameplay unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. Very, very linear and the action is samey. You get weapon powerups, but the basic gameplay doesn't really change from one weapon to the next. Very little strategy involved - just follow the yellowbrick road and kill everything you meet!

8 out of 10, just for the graphics alone.

I think it was Lewis Carrol with the wierd mind. Give the book a read, you'll see what I mean. :) ;)
