That thing that says 'Senior Professional' or whatever.

I am sure there used to be an option that allowed you to change it, but I can't find it now.

siggy, siggy, siggy.....

The white bit is the cartoon representation of the audible sound of a forehead being slapped during the realization that said character has done something ridiculously stupid.

ie: anytime Homer speaks or does something can qualify for the above...

Amen to that!!! It is the way I unwind after a hard day at work. 2 episodes from 6:30-7:30, starting just when I get home. I eat dinner with that on, cold beer in my hand... and all is well.
mmmm, beer.

Of course I'm joking. The show, though funny, was true farce. Though all of the aspects of the characters could be found in true-life people, they were so highly exaggerated that you just had to laugh. (But you knew that.)

It's interesting: I have an auditory memory. I can still hear Edith's tone of voice . . . What has it been? ? ? 35 years? ? ?

There are other voices that are permanently imprinted in my memories: e.g.- "I have a Dream. . ." (But I know I've heard that one replayed every few years.)

The next day she was playing chase with our cat and mooned it. Well that was enough for me. She also couldn’t watch MTV till she was 17 now she can only watch it when the younger girl (or me) isn’t present. I know, I know I am an evil mom.

SIGGY & THERESA - I am truly shocked, CENSORSHIP IS EVIL.

The Simpsons are the best thing to ever come out of the States.

I have also heard that this 2002 season was to be the last, but that statement has since been RETRACTED - WOO-HOO, the Simpsons are here to stay. :D

siggy

O well, if I can't talk you round, then I'll have to join you in the Simpson's anti-fan club. ;)
