New Category please

Is it possible to create a new category for say discussion about anything else going on in the news, perhaps a soap box like [H] have? where we can go to put points of view and discuss with others.....

Sounds good to me, on the old A.C.H.O. board (remeber those loonies!) they had "News" and "General Culture" forums. They were sometimes very quiet, as most memebers were either very non-cultured or did have a clue about real world activities.... :Nurse Shu my cheecky button is stuck again: :eek:

Do you not think the Smokin' Silicon Lounge covers this? If not, and enough ppl want it, it isn't a problem to set up.

I just thought perhaps the Lounge could be for more light hearted stuff, jokes and whatever but the other Soapbox could be for personal veiwpoints on world affairs or whatever you want

Back when I was a drinker (LOL) we used to discuss anything and everthing at the pub. The only thing that used to change was the topics were dependant on the time spent drinking....

Maybe, split the lounge up into:

Family Bar (lunches and nice atmoshere)
Sportsmans bar (hourse betting, pokies, louder)
PoolHall (fighting, lots of leather, denim and lesso's)

The lounge works for me. I wanted to point out though there is some confusion on the welcome new team mates category. We are doing more welcoming to new board registrants than team mates. Maybe that one should be changed to something else.

That's a good point actually, if we have another half a dozen catagories, then Siggy will really have her work cut out to post to all at once
