Anyone working on a bigass number 5?

Just thinking ahead, we are going to be in 5th place pretty soon, so has anyone started work on a biggass #5 graphic for the home page????



Tril, I thought you were going to "whip up" a Thunderbirds graphic months ago??? Anything ever come of that? :D

I thought about this too, For those who don't know, it was a little competition we used to run on a.c.h.o.

Bigass number time :)

Someone would desigh a large number to go on the fromt page of the website, to commemorate moving up the ranking. As we are so near the top, it should be a pretty nice work of art. I did do one for a.c.h.o, but we only got 5th for a few days before [H] knocked us back to 6th.

Anyway, that artwork looked so nice, it's gonna be my submission here...

Sure bro, anyone who want's to, should make a submission. My entry still works, we only used it on a.c.h.o for a couple of days and it's just as valid here. But I'm hoping to see some good work from others. Then the team can decide :)

Shoo, it's so much fun playing the villian tho' :)

And we are "the collective" so it's kinda fitting. :D

Go design one dude! The above pic, was a cube rendered in MAX, then ported to photoshop for the highlights and number work, the whole lot took about 3 hrs. Personally, I like the Borg theme, given that we are hunting 5th place from Picard. Besides, wasn't thunderbird5 that piddly underwater thing? Or was it the space station, I can't remember.

Not to imply Tril0Byte that you are not a really good artist. I just don't want any of our newer team mates to think that they cannot contribute. Everyone is welcome to enter a design and we can vote on them.

Hey Tril, the little banner on the left side menu of the webpage would look great with a Borg cube in the background with the "The Genome Collective" words in the foreground, instead of that globe, circle thingie.

Glad you liked it dnar but I would recommend taking out the Copyright on the top left hand side.:p Here are a couple of other ones that I found. Not the greatest but the pickin's are pretty slim:
