Sitting here watching the British open. Lots of people close to the lead. It should be an interesting final day!

He He :D I usually get out a few times a year. It makes you appreciate what the REAL players do on the tour.

It just feels all wrong to me... I mean, ya spend so much time lining it all up and then BOOF! the smack that little ball to oblivion and spend the next half hour up to you chin in tadpole excretions looking for it. Then ya belt the poor little ball again.... Why not just keep the ball in your pocket instead of the repeated hitting/finding/hitting routine?????

Well, you are supposed to put in a position where you don't have to search for it :D Easier said than done! I'm not a golf nut but do enjoy every now and again. Good place to get out away from the hectic life have a good cigar, drink a few beers with your mates and take out your frustrations on that little white ball ;)

Yup! Started learning it just a couple of months ago, mid May that was. I'm getting - no... paying an arm and a leg for them! - courses from a pro.
I'm doing quite well if I may say so - and that's a perfectionist speaking! - in such a short time. Balls flying pretty straight already. Putting is the best part IMO, direction is good, judging speed is still lacking.
I think I'm going to like this game. PGA Tour here I come!

That great Alfred! It can get to be an expensive hobby. Going rate around here is about 30 US dollars for a round and that's if you walk! We usually get a cart (beer gets a little heavy to carry) ;)
