Okay... I have been messing with overclocking my T-bird 1Ghz. Air cooled I can get it to 1360mHz, but the temps start pushing my limits (49C) with genome running. I have had it to 1496mHz and it was stable, but that was during the winter and I had a duct from the window blowing -10C air into the case (temps where running around 35C then).

So I have been kicking around watercooling, but not sure about the components. I have a submersible pump (from a pond in my yard) that can pump 1200 L/hr with a 2 foot rise -- is this too much? Which radiators should I be considering, and which waterblocks? I was thinking of placing a resivor and radiator behind my desk in a corner (well hidden for my wife's sake) so space isn't too much of a concern.

I am not at all handy as far a making things (ie TrilObyte's duct work for his rig) so it will need to be fairly simple.

Heh I run my main system at about 53 C. I wonder how much longer that will last. Can't wait until the step up the Palominoes. Is there a pic of Trilo's duct work somewhere? I'd like to see it.

Yeah, he's posted some pretty cool pic under the topic of air traps and resivours in this area, and if a remember right there are also so pictures in the Delta=Hotter topic.

NOPE!! I was wrong. There are more pics in the heater core problems topic!

Wanna newbie question:

How can I unlock my P!!! ?

There has been much discussion on overclockers from people trying to analyse the bottoms of P3s to see if there is any pattern relative to the cpu multiplier.

Many other posters have simply told the believers to grow up.

Actually every p!!! comes unlocked from the factory, it's a (secret)BIOS setting.... :D ;)

You can unlock a P!!! by hitting the F3 key at the exact same time as the <ctrl><alt><del> combo while having your left big toe in a bucket of shark urine. A friend of a friend told me :D
