I got an emergency wake up at 12:00am Sunday "It's time to go!" 5 hours later I saw my son Thomas Gregory for the first time:D It makes my eyes leak when I talk about it. He is so tiny 7lbs 4 oz The little guy looks just like me:cool: For those of you who have kids you know what I am feeling right now. Those of you who don't I pray that someday you will. I going on 2 hours sleep in the last 36 hours and I don't think I can get any sleep.
Mom and son are doing fine and Daddy is about to colapse.
Signing of for a short while (with hopes and dreams to get some sleep)

A big Congratulations to you. :D They are fun. Just wait it does get even better. Take care of momma she has had a tough time. If she's like my wife she would not go to sleep for the first several days back at the house. Had to about force her.

I'm going to follow your example.... Me and my wife are "waiting" for our baby for the middle of January 2002.... Last Friday we've seen him/her through the echography (I don't know if that's the correct english term... hope you understand..). It's a really magic thing happening to us.....

Congrats to you!You must be in a small minority. I saw a show on tv last night talking about how your population is going to be reduced by half in the next 40 years. Seems a lot of the men are mamas boys and not getting out on their own. What is up with that? Don't they like women over there any more? :D

About two months before you really catch up on that. All the best to you and yours. It's a kick like nothing else.

It is an emotional time. Both of my girls had to spend their first week or so in ICU. The first one had pneumonia and the second had prolonged apnea. That was really tough to go through. They never found anything wrong with my youngest. She would stop breathing for long periods of time. After the fact we came to the conclusion that she was just a little hot head and doing it on purpose :) She was fine until they started to mess with her then she would hold her breath

Your right about it being an emotional time. The misses will be crying at everything while she is coming down off the hormones. You will also find out that you can sleep anywhere. Congrats again and enjoy.
