Well I certainly have come a long way since Senior Professional :D

Yes.. Now you have become a professional at dragging up old threads from the grave in the Linux forum. I believe that with the exception of the Siggy thread, this is the most traffic this forum has ever got.

Back in the day, Linux forum was quite busy, that is why I was such an irritant. :D

Ercewee

We can make it busy again. How about starting some threads about linux for a change? :D

siggy

You can start threads about linux Ercewee. I on the other had and restricted to SIGGYS PLACE in the linux forum. If I start any new Threads in Linux I can lose my lease :(

Ercewee, how about a thread about Parallel Processing?

Makatiel
1st February 2002, 07:36
Haha.. Then I will have to step in and take over. Where is the Evil Landlord when you need him.

Very nice. Your first very own thread Im so proud. You will be completely assimulated before you know it :D

Makatiel
1st February 2002, 18:45
Haha.. And being a constant poster on the BB just adds to the speed of the Assimilation.

Hmmm, do you think so..... maybe I should stop posting and get back to GoT for a while. Looks like I post here more then there. I begin to suspect I'm infected with mad cow disease. :)

Makatiel
2nd February 2002, 11:33
Noooo.. Not Mad Cow Disease. But Borg Cow Disease..

Moooooooo!!

Ercewee
2nd February 2002, 13:17
What is Borg Cow Disease????

Makatiel
2nd February 2002, 14:33
Has something to do with cows and big cubes. And for some strange reason these cows that get Borg Cow disease start sending their WU's to the Collective.

Next thing you know they are hearing the thoughts of the collective, and start following the will of the collective.

Soon they will become assimilated. There is no hope for one who contracts this disease.

Hmmm, looks like the first symptom has started. Hmmm Siggy must have mixed something trough my drinks. How else could I become infected. ;)

Nope, not yet, maybe I have the mild variant, or an unexpected mutation.

Soon they will become assimilated. There is no hope for one who contracts this disease.

hmmmm

 Maybe if I hang around here long enough, I get immune :D

Hmmm, why don't I believe you.... Probably because you are already infected..... [conspiracy mode] It must be a plot. [/conspiracy mode]

There is no known cure or vaccination. Nurse Shu has been trying for some time now to find a cure...

siggy
3rd February 2002, 13:07
I thought Daniel was working on the cure? :D

Makatiel
3rd February 2002, 15:43
Last time I checked about that funding had been drasticly cut. I dont know if there has been more money recently or not. Maybe we should have a fund raiser to find a cure..

Ercewee
3rd February 2002, 17:45
Maybe that's a good task for my cluster, finding a cure for ma... ehh borg cow disease. :D
It might take some time to write the program for it. Hopefully I can finish it before I'm completely bor.... eh assimilated.

siggy
3rd February 2002, 18:24
Take your time, I want you to be complete assimulated before the cure.

Makatiel
3rd February 2002, 18:44
Yes, there is only hope for a cure if the assimilation is only partly complete. Once the assimilation has completely taken you over there is no chance that it can ever be reversed.
