Just got my RH 7.1 Bible

Sequence 30 is at 60%, I upload the WU and I start installing... Adios Win98 :)

Any quick tips you can give me before I get started installing ???

I'm a bit confused at one point... Having to pick Workstation or Server install... I'll leave it mostly as a server but use it as a workstation once in a while too. Is it possible to install everything, all server packages plus all workstation stuff ?

Choose Workstation. The server install does not provide X-Windows or much in the way of user applications.



Have fun, take your time, open your mind, forget everything Windows has taught you and remember "Linux does not require re-boots just to fix stuff". :D
