The cross platform 3d studio Blender wanted 100000 euro to open their source
They have now reach that target.

We've met our target, collecting sufficient money to pay for releasing the Blender sources! Thanks everyone!
However, the 'paid' total wasn't corrected for the costs we had to make during the past months, like PayPal costs, bank costs and exchange rates. So we still need your support, also to allow the Foundation a headstart. But nothing can stop it anymore... :-)

It's a 3d studio like 3d max and maya but it's for many different platforms and it's free.
this (http://www.elysiun.com/gallery/13/voyage_large.jpg) picture was made in blender
