MAKUHARI, Japan - September 20, 2002 During a press conference today at the Tokyo Game Show, Blizzard unveiled StarCraft: Ghost™, a tactical-action console game set in the StarCraft® universe. The game is currently under development and is scheduled for worldwide release on multiple console systems in 2003.

StarCraft: Ghost brings the experience of the award-winning real-time strategy game down to the level of the individual soldier. Players will descend into the battle-scarred universe of StarCraft as Nova, a lethal Ghost operative in the employ of the Dominion. Epitomizing the height of human evolution and physical conditioning, Ghosts are sent on only the blackest of missions. With an arsenal of psionic powers, advanced weaponry and strategic call-downs on command, players will engage in a mix of solo infiltration and full-scale battles as they unravel the critical next chapter in the epic StarCraft saga.

Oh boy I can't wait :hic:

They say its a console gameset...that doesnt make sense, blizzard is a PC game company. They have ported games to n64 an playstation, but always well after release of the pc version, even mac (usually) comes out a little later than the PC version. wonder whats up...or is that just a term im unframiliar with?

Zoth: Dominion is the name of the human Empire of Arcturus Mengsk I (formerly leader of the Sons of Korhal) after the fall of the Confederate Empire.

It's also the name of the Gamma Quadrant baddies in Star Trek: DS9. Run by the Changeling "Founders". I don't remember any Asimovian "Dominion", there was the Galactic Empire which fell & was replaced by the "Foundation", unless it was the name of the "Mule's" empire.
