About all it's worth.......
Corel Linux is not the best, it's also Debian based, so no RPM's... Corel have dropped Linux too...

Why do you guys even pay for it at all? I either download the ISOs for free and burn em, or get someone else to do it and have them make me a copy, free also ( except for the CD, I provide one)
You could even just download the packages you need and install that and if you need somethin' later, just grab that package.
For example (dialup)
Get the install part durings days 1-3
get extra packes days 4-6
finish off gettin' needed packages days 6-7
Install on or after day 8
I have done this, as i was once on dialup. It works pretty good. Just get something like Getright where you can resume and tell it to disconnect after x many minutes.

You have a lot more patience then I do. Right now I'm trying to get redhat 7.1 and debian (Just because.) from some one out at work to copy. If that fails probably cheapbytes.

Well 2$ for a CD and the manual + the time you save, + the hassle.... I think it's freakin good.... even if you burn the thing with the book... you'll be saving on heating cost this winter.... LOL

Here in Australia, just about every PC magazine comes with a cover disk, and just about every cover disk had Linux on it!

Thats where two builds I put on my machine last year came from. Had a schizo computer with win98, open linux, mandrake, storm. With system commander starting it. Kind of a test machine.
