Hi all!

My first post on this board and about time too! :D

Anyways I made and briefly managed the old SkzDaLimit Genome team member info page and wasn't sure whether anyone was working on a new combined one for this team.

If not, I've red-designed the old page with a new Genome Collective look. Here it is: Member Info (http://www.icon.co.za/~mschafer/genome/collective_members.html) Just thought I would get the ball rolling...

So do you people want to go with this one? If so could you please send me your info and I'll add you to the page.

The good Medic Lord of the Secret Information Police is working on something similar.. maybe you two could get together?

It does look good.... keep the good work up bro!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I've e-mailed Medic and we shall be working on something... He has allready given me some suggestions which I've just updated the page with... So with our combined efforts we shall definitely have something up soon!

Yes I remember the discussion. But I still disagree. I am not a guy and will never be a guy. I refuse to give in to the male mentality.:D

What about Chaps? I call most of the "guys" at work, Chaps... does that count? At least I don't call em blokes - though some could fit the bill :D

You would think we could come up with a word that is not gender specific, in any language. "GUYS" just doesn't do it for me. I use the word "people" a lot but it doesn't always fit.

I'm hosing myself here as I originally wrote "guys and gals" but left it at just guys thinking "guys and gals" would make more of a stir as surely guys alone refers to both genders.

Obviously I was wrong (again)... Here in S.A. guys does to some extent refer to both genders. We use the term okes to refer to men and guys can be used to refer to both genders at the same time... Oh well perhaps when this debate is over I'll have a new term to use! ;)

Mate me siggy & shubles bandied this one around a while ago....me & shue agree "guys" is androgenous and okay for all sexes. As siggy doesnt want to be a "guy" I am abstaining from calling her one....perhaps "guys & siggy??" :D

Chris isnt "y'all" your preferred term??

I could live with youins and y'all and ppl. If we didn't have so many WOMEN excepting "GUY" we would have a better term by now. I can't solve all of the worlds problems by my self.:p
