BMG will no longer sell cd's and dvd's without copy protection.
To see what artist's you should stay away from look here (http://www.bmg.com)

I bought a copy protected CD "Jennifer Lopez, J to tha L-O" which wouldn't read in my PC. I was using AudioGrabber to try and rip the tracks but it didn't like it. I swapped to Exact Audio Copy (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) which ripped it perfectly.
I also managed to get AudioGrabber to read it by using a black dry marker around the outside data track :)

I'll send one when it's ready. :)
We'we only been planning it for 2 years.:D
It will be 5 coversongs and 5 self made.
Not sure if we put it on the same tho...
But I can send both, or make a special. :)
We'll see.
We want't to try to make a record deal.
Maybe not so smart to have coversongs.
But to get jobs, we must have cover songs. (how it works here)
People will only hear songs they know.
Please don't (its on our home page) is a self made song.
(but with a crappy, fired guitarist)

It's the same over here mostly, you can sometimes slip in 1 or 2 songs of your own if you got about a dozen or more covers. :(

We play 3 or 4 x 45 minutes pr. night, and have about 12 songs per set.
Sometimes we play 2 of our own, but that's it.
But it's better to have jobs tho.
I played in a prog. band, and it was hard to get gigs. (payed gigs) :(
If you wan't to play your own music you have to have a record company in the back.
