noxordo stats messing up

Been wondering what the deal was with the stats from Noxordo. Found this just now.


Yes, there are problems.

I am having difficulty in getting the pages to upload to the noxorodo site. Pages are getting partially uploaded, the upload is taking 10 times longer than in the past even though the number and size of files has not changed that much. I am trying to get in contact with Goaty to see how we can solve this. Until then the pages will probably be broken in different ways from one update to another. The index page seems particularly problematic, even though it is not the largest page. The current [H]ard page has a hole in the middle of the data. This is really strange.

I have done line tests on my side, the speed seems to be normal 768Kbps up and down. I have been trying to find another ftp site that I can get to, to test the actual transmission of the pages (telocity/directvdsl ftp site has been down for over a week!). So right now I don't know where or what the problem is.

I have been having the same problem since yesterday. Only getting partially loaded pages and such.

Been having to bounce between several different stats pages to get everything I need to know for the time being.

Hope someone has let him know and he gets things back running soon.

I don't use hotlist/facorites/bookmarks for simple URLs like that.....

Weird. I just checked with a handfull of TPS'ers in our irc channel, and all of them could reach it. If it's a DNS issue, then that problem will go away soon more than likely, I submitted a change to NSI today for the dns to point to the servers I maintain instead of the old decrepit thing it points to now.
If you still can't reach in after like 2 days or so (in other words, whenever NSI updates their stuff), I'll see what might be causing the problem.

The statsman stats show a backlog of data. It wasn't updated for a day or so. Check the dates at the bottom.

seems like the internet is just acting strange lately...I'm on a dial in account with earthlink, but can dial into PSI's net or Sprint's net ( well their pops anyway ) sometimes I can't get to something I'll log out and dial into the other pop and I'm just fine. Then there are times one works but it's really slow..sometimes nothing works. I just don't remember this many problems a year ago.

Wierd, ya'll know about my cruddy cable service from AT&T (used to be mediaone roadrunner) Well, a week ago, there were 2 trucks between my house and my other nieghbor that has cable modem service too (across the street). They both went into his house, and were in there for a few hours. Most of the time whn someone has trouble, they send one truck. this was 2 and they took forever inside his house. Then they came outside and started lookin' at the telephone poles, the cable boxes, on our houses, and then got in the trucks nad went down the street and looked at the lines some more. 2 days later i got less disconnects, 2 a day instead of 10. Yesterday their were 2 more truckss doin' the same thing, over at neighbors house, then they looked at the lines, and left.
