I have a heatpipe from a 133mhz laptop, cpu attached. What to do, what to do.

It has a very small contact area that touches an aluminum plate. the CPU is sandwiched between the backing and that aluminum plate.

I also have tthe TFT for it. I can't seem to think of ANYTHING to do with it. I ha a small amount of mercury in the cold cathode tube according to the back label (makes me wanna not touch it)

I wish they would come up with a heatpipe for a desktop. I like the idea, but I suppose there's just too much heat to dissapate in a desktop. Maybe you could use it to cool a video card.

I haveseen that. Very interesting and prolly hard to do.

The one I ave is very small, it is long though. The ctual pipe is around 3mm wide. The pipe is attched to a bottom aluminm sheet to dissipate the heat
