dumb terminal output /LCD question

I have 5 snazzy 8x28 character LCDs and am able to drive them using regular old Hypertermianl. I was wodnering if there was a way to somehow take some data and slap it on the serial port without a whole lot of programs running.

You can do this under linux by directing terminal output to the serial device. I dunno how you'd manage it under Windows.

Hrm. I can't use linux on the computer that has the LCD, I need programs on it that only run in windows.

Ponder ponder.

If only I could get LCDC working right... Maybe I should ask that instead... How can I write custom definition files?
