I gotz a SIIG ATA133 V2.0 card for my hds.... i should never have bought it, but....i got it now and it works...but it doesnt seem to fully ...work the UDMA is very low. hdparm says its using udma1 or 2, im not sure wich i think one...so its goin really slow. umm, i dunno why? I did a search on the web, they said for the siig card you use the CMD kernel driver...so i recompiled with that and it didnt boot the root partition... i dont know why. it said it couldnt mount it and kernel died. Anyone used siig with linux?
