Anyone considering purchasing a new CPU should wait till the end of the month or to the middle of September.
Many in the financial world are saying that Intel will be forced to slash prices in half, especially in the P4 space in order to jumpstart sales. This means that AMD will respond with lower prices just to position itself below Intel.
This could all mean a firesale on CPUs!
