Things didn't look bright for fans of old Whitesnake when gentlemen Marsden and Moody recently decided to put Company of Snakes (http://www.companyofsnakes.com/) on hold for a while. However, now there's an even more exciting project in the works. Moody and Marsden and their old friend bassist Neil Murray has started a new project called M3 (http://www.classicwhitesnake.com/) Neil Murray says this on the Company of Snakes web site:
As the latest lineup of Whitesnake does not play many of the classic songs of the late 70s and early 80s, M3 aims to be the band to fill that gap. The fantastic talents of Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath), Josh Phillips (ex-Big Country) and Jimmy Copley (ex-Paul Rodgers) will combine with Whitesnake founder members Bernie, Micky and Neil to play the Whitesnake songs that everyone wants to hear.
M3 is currently planning a European tour. Stay tuned to the band's new website (http://www.classicwhitesnake.com/) for details.
