I bought a copy of Win98 Quake 3 and wanna use it in linux. This was possible iwth Quake 2, but i can't seem to find a howto. I really don't want to buy a linux copy....................

Cool, and lets see, the Win version is still $50 that it was when it first came out (at local stores, while other games get cheaper) :mad: :confused: :mad: :mad:

I don't know where to find a how-to but it's similar to Q2. You need the .pak files from the cd and the latest Q3 linux point release. I think if you create a dir and add the .pak files, then install the point release into that dir you should be good to go.... in theory. :rolleyes:
