Wow! The 3.0 driver is MUCH faster than the Beta 2.0 driver! And bigger!:-

Nice, about time companies started writing decent drivers for Linux. Nvidia cards seem well supported nowadays.

For the record, Matrox simply pull the stock XFree86 driver, and modify the source to support the HAL hardware abstraction layer, thus providing the Matrox "merged" dual-head mode, that is BTW fully hardware accelerated on BOTH heads. Good bye "xinerama" mode.

Anyone need help getting Merged mode running under Linux, email or PM me. I have it sussed.
