Has anyone ever watercooled a powersupply? I'm think of doing that eventually to reduce noise (tryin to keep 5 puters quiet takes a lot of $$$)

I'm thinking of either a block that touches the existing aluminum heatsinks or a copper block that replaces the existing heatsinks.

For the first idea, I could bolt it down somehow and attach it to the aluminum heatsinks with thermal take so it wouldn't corrode.

The second idea might be too hard for me to do with my limited tools and abilities, i know how to use a drill press, but i doubt I could get accurate enough to get the 3-5 transistor mounting holes lined up.

The only place I've seen this is at www.koolance.com . They offer a factory watercooled case including the p/s. It got hammered at Tom's Hardware tho'

I wonder if coolance would sell me just the hdd cooler. Oh wait, i was postin bout a ps watercooler. Der Me though it over and I came up with that my ps is prettyy darn quiet anyway.

Now to watercool my other puters using $40 :D

Dangerden MAZE2 is $42 fyi
Heatercore $16
have 20feet of tubing
$2 bucket thing with a lid ( i have some pics of this, its a squarish thing with a lid, and its tranlucent so me dye lite glows)
magdrive pump $15-20

total $80

I cna do without a fan for the heaercore until i find a deal on a 120mm. I can use my 4 80mms i have layin around a 7v or no fan. Surprisingly, heatercores work OK without a fan! The temps get higher but they do stop climbing and maintain a constant water temp (but it is higher than without a fan, I don't have the numbers)
