Late here so they will be running overnite and tomarrow while at work. But I just picked up 2 8's on 2 seperate machines. What happened to all the mid range? 50 to 60's. All I seem to be getting is either ~90 or low ones.

Hmm. I copied the .2's to my genome dir, but when it came time to get a new WU, genome ignored 'em and went out and got a new one from the server. I tried taking the .2's off the names and trying that also, no go. Anyone get these to work? What am I missing?

Alfred I resent to the nl address and Yo you should be able to get a #2 from gh then replace them with it. If not I can zip up one with it in the #1 spot and send it.

That may have been the problem, I don't remember if I had any .2's in the dir. There may not have been, I'll get some and see. Thanks. :)

Now I need to reassemble the Pentium 90 Mhz.

Picked up a 16 and a 12 if interested. On the input not the 2 file

Next Q: If I copy the genome dir from one computer to another, then continue running the client, the current gene will be a duplicate. But what about the next? Is it a random thing? I'd hate to have 2 puters running the same genes...

Moving them to another machine is not a problem it still gets different results to send back. The rotamers lib changes.

The input.inp (etc.) can be renamed to input.inp.2 (etc.) and sent to somebody that way -- as long as you get all of the files that would be named .2. I think it is the easiest way to email a protein once you're sure the recipient knows how to use them. Apparently the seed shipped with the .2 is never actually used; it is re-randomized when the .2 is dropped -- so you probably won't produce a duplicate, even initially.
