Just in case you haven't checked it out, there are 8 machine IDs available. This should come in handy for those with hexes or octos. ;)

Yep. And an option that comes close to what nonet used to be.

I now can take a slow machine, dedicate it to genoming, and visit it once a week to connect it to a modem and refresh its queue. In fact, I've got a couple that I manage by swapping flash drives (a modified method of a sneakernet.)
