Heya everyone. . I added a new machine to my Genome arsenal today, so I thought I'd hop onto these boards, say hello, and brag about my small army. :) They are:

Aurora--P3/1GHZ

Frankenstein--Celeron 566 (Stubborn POS won't go to 850)

Faris--AMD K6-II 350@450 (Newest addition)

Faris is working on a Genome work unit with the .99 client, and is taking a while doing it, but still. . Anyway, for the more useless information, the OS on it's pretty screwed up and I'm gonna do a reinstall on it when all the driver disks are delivered to me, and then that machine is gonna be a gateway server as well as an enormous hard drive repository. :)

All the machines are, naturally, crunching for the Genome collective.

Anyway, enough bragging for now. . See ya later!

Hey Decimal! Good to hear from you! Please join in the fun, all posts are welcomed!

Now, how about explaining your systems names?

Names? Hmm. . Well, the first one is named Aurora after the star-thing, constellation or something, Frankenstein got his name from at first being assembled from odd parts I had around (the name just kinda stuck), and Faris? Well, it doesn't really fit the system, but I named it after the pirate captain in Final Fantasy V. My friend suggested the name, cause I like her. *g*

That's basically it. Am I the only one who names their computers. .?

Cool. My systems are all named after characters from the UK TV series RedDwarf:

486 Firewall: Lister@RedDwarf
Celeron: Holly@RedDwarf
Tbird: Criten@RedDwarf
