:D
I've been doing something a little silly... to see how quiet I can have my system, and still run at 100%.
For the last 8 hours I have left my computer running DF, with a little of Call of Duty, and right now Molly is watching Nemo on the 2nd monitor while I type this. I have controls for the case fans, all turned off. The TT Volcano 9 hs/f variable speed is set to the minimum of 2130 rpms, and the system has kept itself at CPU:56, and Case:32, with the ambient at 24. (all Celsius ;) )
Its a 2100+, and a cheap noname case, but an Antec 430 watt dual fan psu. It is very quiet!
I am planning on replacing this system next week, but just thought I'd play around a little first. No hint of instability yet.

Not silly at all. Check out www.silentpcreview.com for more of the same. They have some very good info and their forums are interesting too.

Well, after the inital heat up of yesterday, I turned the hs/fan up to 2700 rpm. Still very quiet, almost inaudible, and has dropped the temps to 49/30. Very liveable. Might have something to do with the cleaning I gave it the other week. ;)
And I love the quiet!
