I learned this morning that James Doohan (Scotty, of the original StarTrek cast) has early stage Alzheimer's Disease. The announcement several years ago that Ronald Reagan had Alzhimer's and the repetition of that information in the last few weeks. Perhaps Scotty will also bring more attention to this terrible disease.
I nursed my Mother through a protracted illness, and I know first hand, how serious it is.
I suggest we crunch a couple extra WUs toward the FAH account of Unimatrix_Zero (team 131) in tribute to these men. There have already been some significant results in this area, but lots of work still needs to be done.
