Leave it to the penguin community to harness the beloved spud. Lets see here.... first it was spud beer... and now a spud server. Whats next, a spud for President?

I did not know that you could get enough power out of a spud to run anything serious. Well maybe a light bulb. But you can cunch genes......so whats the point, right?

light bulbs consume too much "juice" (spud juice LOL)
I might actually be able to do something similar to this easily with a battery. Why i would, i don't know, but it sure as heck is cool

I've used this SOC before... It's a good choice... Plan on 2-4 AA batteries depending upon how long you want it to run... More for longer uptime:

ST Microelectronics is also a good place to look...

The problem is putting these guys onto a board... Don't even THINK about soldering BGA packs by hand...

Yep, I can say I've done that by hand...kind of a trick to it. I can even say it worked after I did it....

Awesomely funny! Did you figure out if it was cookie based, or if they go by IP?
