Cookie / Posting problem ???

I experienced the dreaded cookie monster this afternoon. All my posts were being refused. I checked it out, I was not receiving cookies. I guess the cookie monster was hungry.

Just received an Email from another victim of the cookie monster. I hope not too many people are locked out due to this, I read on the SDL board that I am not the first one to have this problem. Were are you phil ?:eek:

I disabled cookies in my profile and I can post now, obviously.

I had tried different machines, even a different machine on a dialup ISP at the office. Nothing changed until I changed the option in my profile.

It takes several logins, but once you uncheck the cookie thing under options it should work. Well, at least it did for me.

Maybe you need to change witch-doctors, some of those guys were only good for DOS. Make sure your mojo is in your left pocket, 'cause it won't work if it's in your right one if you're south of the Equator. Don't forget to think good thoughts too.

I tried with and without, with and without cookies enabled in my profile. No matter the setting, the BB server just was not serving cookies.....



Then, after an hour and a half, a cookie hit my browser! Voila! And I was in! It's the spirit of ACHO, posts are gunna go missing next.....



Tis a good thing Phil has admin rights and X is back in town. Maybe X should sort out the old girl as a backup BB :D

Shu, why not give wylie your shushan password (via Email). He would look good in a dress :D

Noticed the same problem of not being cookied when I logged in from another machine. Strange but it fixed itself. I'm sure that it is just a bug in the software that will work itself out.

I've had no problems with this forum, but my browser has always had a strange allergy to Fortunecity pages. All graphics appear as a Fortunecity logo, which they say is a cookie problem. Weirdness abound. :confused:
