WTF???
I leave you boys and girls alone for TWO weeks to get my moving on the go to a better and bigger place and what do I see when I come back?

1. My board got SNAFU due to dnar maniac posting habits.
2. There's a new team name.
3. Three teams have merged.
4. There's a new board in town.
5. We kick ass.

Geeezuz, no wonder I feel strange in a stranger land.

Well sorry for the guys and gals who faced my server problems, that ought be the case someday since dnar joined the board !!! :D It'S a shame it happened while I was away, at least I could of reconstruct the database when problems started, now it's way past anything a doctor could do for the old girl.

Too bad I could not vote: for all it's worthed: YES I DO. One thing is strange thought, when the merging came up earlier in the genome days, the current most enthousiast we're against it? Anyway glad to be here and crunching....

No dump either from me , both machines had been disconnected due to heavy painting job in da house (22 gals of paint I use.... pffff...!!!!).

So back to the old crunchin' habits, glad to see that at least my Smokin' Silicon Lounge survived the cataclysm, I guess the timing for the birth of the new board was just right.

I salute those I call friends from the former team (Rest In Peace ACHO) and I salute all the new one, as I am a new one to this new team as well.

LET'S START ROCKIN' SOME GENES !!!!

Edit: forgot to sign my name (doh!)

F. /Panic mode ON
G. Click URL Bar --> Backspace couple of times to Home Page
H. Team ACHO not there... /Panic mode goes frantic
I. /me "Oh what the hell, I'll join Team ALT instead..."
J. /me remembers B. Board --> Bookmarks again.
K. "The page you are trying to reach is SNAFU / FUBAR"
L. /me goes "This must be a joke, overclocking can cause serious misbehaviors from the web browser"
M. /me think reformat is an option (---> nah...)
N. /me goes to the SDL board
O. /me understands

Some questions thought:

Who is team DTSO?
What's the Genome_Collective all about? Dead in action already?
What prompted the guys who were against a merging for identity reasons when Virus and I started talking about such an idea to flip their hat around? (Yes Phil and Tril......!!!!).
Could anyone do a summary of what went on in the past 2 weeks, I bet it's on the old ACHO board... I'll try to ressurrect what I can...
How many soldiers were lost in the process in all 3 teams because of divergeance of opinions?

KUDOS TO THE SDL AND PCCX TEAM MEMBERS FOR RENOUNCING RANKS AND PERSONNAL STATS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE CAUSE

In the dear memory of your sacrifice I will restart crunching under a new account name (XCalibur_Of_The_Collective) and work my way up like the good people who joined force in the new team. I invite fellow ex-ACHO members to do the same.

One last question (or maybe two):

1. Why was I not notified by e-mail that the old ACHO board was going strange. I could of at least fixed the database? Anyone?
2. I read someplace (SDL board I think, but I believe the guy was from Picard)) that the ACHO board was dying (funny I thought it was going pretty strong), to that person I grant you the grand title of Everlasting Idiot.
3. What happened with Picard? They collectively chose to remain like one? They will be assimilated, resistance will only make it more painful.

And Finally:
Great work from the board admins, nice piece of work, I guess I will crawl back in my hole with my shame, sorry my pittyfull work let you down guys and gals, I guess I should stick to what I do good (assimilate books...).

To the Team:
This is already a great adventure, glad we all jumped on the same ship (err, rocket?), I'm looking forward for the great topics we'll get on that board. Newest is always the best!!! :p

The bottom line, I think it was just the right time for all of us on all the teams. We all needed to break into some new ground. I guess getting nocked by [H] started us all thinking of ways to boost our teams. We could see enteusiasm waining and we always got on well together. After A LOT of completely chaotic debate, somehow, we managed to find a collective idea, a path that seemed good for us all. Believe me, it wasn't easy, and more than a few ppl are glad it's all over - myself included.

No -one could ever piece together the events, to any degree of meaningfull accuracy, so I wont even attempt a catalogue of how we got here. What's important, is we ARE here and it's working better than anyone could of hoped.

Great to have you back man.
