THAT'S what I'm talkin' bout!
My first time in ORANGE! And with no nonet dumps, either! WOOHOO! The adding hardware is finally starting to pay off! (Remember when I was ecstatic to have first hit yellow, and then to have stayed there? Now it's Orange! Next stop - RED!)
(And Pel still beat me by half a dozen genes... POUT! :p )

I still have yet to dump my work machines too... :D
Guess I'll have to go into the office today :(

This is great for the team and genome@home, keep going Jodie and try to catch Pelligrini :)
Personally, I've been green twicw this week for the first time ever. I'm happy as a clam :D

Yep, its true. I've seen it myself. You're orange, all right. You look great in orange. Gotta change the lipstick though. It clashes.

Go me, aiming for green :)
Jodie
27th August 2001, 12:01
I agree, Daniel, I'll need to go for a brown rather than red...;)
Thanks all! I lost 90% of my network late last night to a rolling blackout. Still need to get the new batteries into the cages. Sigh. Back down to yellow...
Everything is back up as of 8:30 or so this morning...

Oh, great, thanks Pel... Just know how to make a girl feel great don't you?:p
I have to stay home today and keep an eye on the puppy - my sister put small chicken bones in the trash - xrays show they're now in the puppy's tummy - as such I have to keep an eye on him so I can get him in for surgery if they don't pass..
So, if I have time today and things go well, I'll go buy a few more Tbirds...
:D

I was checking out the stats on statsman today.
We are doing some heavy duty crunching.
As of stanfords 9:00 update:
Rankings for the week:
Jodie-21st
Ohms18K-14th
Pelligrini-7th
For the day:
Sniper_Virus-34th
Jodie-27th
Pelligrini-6th
ohms18K-3rd
I'm sure you'd be doing much better, if you haven't been so lucky recently....
There's only 20 people that crunched more than you, a few of them are multiple person users too.
Keep 'em crunchin' :)

thanks Pel - but TWENTY people? That stinks! :( ;)
Ohms had an AWESOME dump!
I've got to do something about stabalizing my network and getting some more hardware going... those Oct-1.7 Xeons look better and better all the time. ;)
I notice we've had like a 15k 24hr, that's got to be one of our all time bests... Have to go query statsman and see...
Keep it cranking, everyone! Second and then First place is going to be rather tough. [grin]

21 out of roughly 4500 active users worldwide, not too stinky really ;)

It's not really accurate, it reflects the backlog that stanford had yesterday.

Thanks! (I think)
I've actually been sitting here calculating what it would take to do 5k/day... If we figure 15Ghz of primarily PIIIs can do 500-ish/day, then 150Ghz of PIII should do 5k. So 130Ghz of Tbirds should do it.
2x1.2x50 should just about be the ticket (on top of what I have). 16 - 1U duals to a rack with cooling, 3 racks of 1U Dual tbirds. If one starts them carefully, 5/15amps, 150amps of power plus cooling. Upkeep on them will run about $1500/mo in power alone.
A pricey hobby, but not all that bad... ;)

I would have thought that with all your hardware, you would have doubled my weekly production by now.:p
verT
27th August 2001, 22:16
Jodie, are you going to take that from Dustin?:D
Jodie
27th August 2001, 22:36
From the look of it, Dustin, I've more than doubled your weekly production...:p
The bar in your signature shows 1676.65 last week... * 2=3353.30
The bar under my name shows 3522.25 last week....
:p :p :p 2.1008 times :p :p :p
:D :D :D

Nope

Dustin 2100
And my latest bird has only been online a couple days.

I was going by the tag under your name - last week's production, as well as mine... I've been up and down the last few days from hassels across the board. I've lost probably 160 CPU/hrs this last week... Give it a week to stabalize, your new machine and my machines with NEW BATTERIES! [CHEER!] and we shall see...
Dustin
27th August 2001, 22:48
I propose this for a new minimum goal for you. To at least double my current weekly output.:D
Jodie
27th August 2001, 22:51
Triple would be preferable...:p

Promise? So that means if I add 6Ghz more, you have to add 18Ghz!:D I like this!
Oh, at that rate, your output should be 6.3K/week.
I don't know why the bar isn't updated.:(
Jodie

Nope, I don't promise - but I'll endeavor! ;)
