I have a guest form (feedback & hit counter) on my WEB Site, they requires Frontpage Extensions on the WEB server side, they are installed (& turned on in FP) but... the forms/hit counter don’t work i.e. error message is
“FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.
This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.
Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page.”
Have any of you guys come across this before, can you help please?!?!
Cheers
Dave.
PS - I have done a few WEB Sites but never come across this:confused:

Is the site you are having trouble with hosted on Unix or IIS?
There are FP server Extensions for both OSs. Usually if you are having FP SE trouble generally they should by re-applied. Can you access the FP SE Admin app? Is it available via a web page via your hosting company?

Here (http://63.204.18.114) is a site I did last night for a club I belong to
It runs off a custom DLL. The backend is SQL 2000. All data is stored in SQL via XML. It is managable via ANY Web browser anywhere in the world. Anyone can browse but to interact I have to send out a personal invitation. In the invitation process, a user account and password are generated and sent out via SMTP. There are 6 levels of interaction. Any of the 6 can be combined for a total custom experience.
Running on Win2K Advanced Server with IIS 5.0 and Office 2002 server extensions.

They are the Unix / Apache Operating System, Version: PSA v1.3.1_build010507.20 os_RedHat 6.x
FrontPage Support:=Yes authorization=ENABLED
SSI Support:=Yes
PHP Support:=Yes
CGI Support:=Yes
Perl Support:=Yes

All i can acces is this, the hosting company control the rest (on or off)
I can run the "//_vti_inf.html" test to see if the FP server Extensions are working (& they were), but i just dont understand it.
I'm getting an upgrade of FP200 to FP2002 and will do a test page in that and see if that works!!
Thanks for the help Will:D
