Pelligrini has very quietly passed 2 million units.

Congrats on passing another million-mile stone! They come few and far between at your stratospheric level, Pell. It makes them all the sweeter.

Thanks all. A nice steady pace can really add up over time.
Most all of the old P-Pro rigs are dormant and collecting dust. There's one lone Hex PII-333 still chugging away at the office.
I just wish that our new graphics/3d person would quit shutting down her dualcore rig clients.
I should step up into the GPU folding soon. I've got a x1950 scheduled for delivery Friday. The GPU units add up points pretty quick. They'll also produce some good scientific data too. It'll be going into my bedside machine. The ATI x300 it's replacing doesn't run Oblivion very well.

You play Oblivion in bed?

Yep, cordless keyboard and a cordless Logitech trackman.

So many straight lines. . . :D
What's the matter, Mike? You don't have a bedside computer? Thanks Pell, I thought having a bedside laptop might make me strange. Now, okay, I know it's just a symptom.
The bits for my dual-GPU rig should arrive sometime next week. Who knows? I might catch Daniel.

Got salt?
Amusingly, coincidentally, and tangentially, my son just walked in and started talking about how I needed more cardboard. :norty: Gods and small fishes but I love my kiddo!

I thought any good geek had a bedside rig. ;)
I wish I bought a flatpanel a long time ago. I used to have a 19" CRT in a chair next to the bed. I made a bracket/stand for the LCD that slides onto my waterbed frame.
TDK, What cards did you go with? I'm getting a bit of a lag problem (GPU client related) with my new Sapphire x1950xt. There had been a few posts on te forums about intermittant problems with 256 meg cards. Hopefully, it'll get worked out as the beta progresses. I'm getting a little under 9 minutes per frame for a 100 frame WU worth 330 points. Looks like that one GPU will net ~550 points per day.
The best thing is kicking up all the setting to the max in Obvilion and play with not very many problems at all. The additional ppd is just an extra.

I got a pair of Radeon X1950 XTX 512MB cards. All I can do now is drool since the mobo and nuclear generator necessary to power them hasn't arrived yet. I'll keep you posted. Between my son's Legos and the bits for the new boxen, the living room is going to be a mess for a few days.
Hmm. . . A foldout bracket might be nice. I could have my nightstand back again.
