Just curious, what's everyone doing for labor day? Or if you're reading this late, what'd ya do? I'm going to Great Lakes Dragaway. Actually, I'm going today. Leaving as soon as I finish posting. Yeah yeah, so I'm semi gear head!:D

We're staying off the highways . . .
And having a bunch of folks over for lunch today (Sunday).
I'll probably rebuild a computer tomorrow.

Working...
I was going to go climbing, but then got my nails done for a big meeting on monday... That kinda rules-out rock climbing...
I may go hiking in the morning, however, before heading back into town.
Today I'm down in L.A. area getting my hair done... (hey Phil, the board works pretty well under windows ce with a wireless modem!)

Just got stoopid and decided about an hour ago, we are getting ready to go to Louisiana to the casino's. Do a Midnite run.

I've been spending some time in the woodshop too, sweating and slapping mosquitos. It's nice to have rain again, but I forgot about those little bloodsuckers.
Tracked down the problem with the flooding primaries on my Camero. The float doesn't float anymore, it'll gurgle if you shake it. I wish Holley would have stuck with the metal floats, the plastic ones sure do suck.
Did battle with the the teenage girl (Mariah) most of the day. She's working off her $300 phone bill she had last month. I should have made it $50 an hour rather than $10 :(

I've been working on a grant all weekend but found time to take Laura to the Rainbow Room Saturday for a martini or four. Yesterday we took a long walk in Riverside Park. Tonight we go to the jazz club down the block. I do love NY.

Didn't get much napping in just work. Got one piece finished. 12 drawers with solid maple top. Sister unit with 2 drawers and 2 doors still not finished. Will finish later tonight. Drawers and doors are done.
Shop was warm bordering on hot (very little insulation) but no pesky mosquitos.... thank god I don't live in tropical america.
