Me gots meself a new hdd fer linux :D (in english, "I bought a new harddrive for to put linux on")

Its a Seagate Barracuda III (3) 20.4gb, 8.9ms access time, UDMA 100 (if i ever get me UDMA 100 turned on)

It was cheaper than an IBM, but seemed to be better than the Maxtors. I got it fer $85 at www.mwave.com

Is this a decent drive? its a lil late to tell me its absolute poo, but any nifty comments would be nice. Do tell me if its really poo though. The specs seem better than my current Samsung that houses win98 and other goodies.

EDIT: Specs are here:

Yeh mate, they are a darn fine drive! For one thing, they do not exhibit the periodic mainenance cycle, that typical IDE drives do. They are a good choice for mutlitrack audio and video recording.
